What did you do to your car today?

Going through the car wash once a week definitely expedited the oxidation process, without a doubt.

Well isn’t that awesome. I figured I was getting all of the salt off

Wish I had video, but I “rolled coal” in the 240 :rofl

put 45 dollhairs worth of gas only to get just under a full tank… shit suckkkks

Repetitively wound it out to 7500rpm in anger over the broken tensioner and stretched timing chain :rofl

hm…i wonder how they broke in the first place :retardclap:retardclap:retardclap:retardclap

prlly broke cause of drunk driving

Hm, no idea man. But using some investigative super secretive GM TSB powers:

a tick or rattle noise may be heard from behind the front cover of the engine and/or pieces of a timing chain roller may be found during an oil change.

Non-heat treated timing chain rollers were randomly installed in the assembly line hoppers. He advised that this happened sometime between 4/1/06 - 11/1/06 so it can randomly affect late 2006 - early 2007 models.

:rofl

Took it to Northstar for the timing chain tick. Of course when I went to show the service advisor the sound was nowhere to be found. :facepalm

Washed it, noticed a fresh little chip in passenger door. Bought some basecoat and that went on nice and smooth, grabbin a little clear tomorrow to finish the job.

Then was taking out some scratches, and basically slipped up with the POS circular we have at work and put a little burn on the edge of the spoiler :facepalm Not big nor in a really visible spot, can probably correct it tomorrow.

For my last trick, I managed to lock my key in the vehicle as well! Lots of fail today on my part.

ohhhhh boy , have fun wit that man . theyyyyyyyy suck " the chains i mean "

it’s just a tensioner replace, with a new chain shield on the top end between the chain gears… not to bad to do
