bolted everything up in the fresh engine bay(brakelines, battery tray, fuse box, etc.) put the clutch & tranny on. Exhaust comes Tuesday, engine goes in tomorrow. NJ next weekend? Then this fucker is ready to roll:banana

Spent all day doing a timing belt when I dident need to, broke the bead on my tire when trying to limp it down the road to put air in it because I can’t seem to find my compressor…

Fixed some intercooler piping, relocated the MAF to before the turbo, replace a couple wheel studs. Drove it to work today!

That’s not necessarily true.
People run blow-through all the time, just depends on the maf being used, the amount of air you’re moving, and they way you’re tuning.
True, some MAFS I have heard of being able to take “turbulence” but it depends on how far from the turbo outlet its mounted as well. I’ve seen some people mount it right after the TB successfully without problems.
I’ve heard quite a few people say its way easier in the end to just run it before the turbo.
I’m gonna go drive my car to work… That seems to be all I do to it lately…
