should i get that? i have enough money and it seems to be a half decent bike to start on again.

yup

how old r u? i’m gonna assume that u r over 18, if so then no its too small for u. maybe look for an xr200-250 or something. they can be picked up cheap and will fit u better.

im 16, 165 lbs, 5’ 10". i don’t really wanna go fast.

ya, i see what u r sayin. i still say its a bit too small. i rode around w/ my friend on one when i was younger, but more like 11 or 12. if u r sold on the RT models, they made a RT180, look around for one of those or the XR models i mentioned before…good luck

165 lbs wouldn’t mix well with an RT100 or XR100’s suspension. You might not want to go fast, but I’d definitely look into the trail model 4stroke 250s like Smokey said. An XR250 would be a great bike for you. They don’t have overwhelming power, but the suspension will be able to work with you.

i don’t want to do huge jumps or anything, just trail riding and messing around. plus i have to learn to ride again, its been 6-8 years since i last rode.

the bikes we suggested arent for doing huge jumps or going fast. i know that u want a tame bike, but u should still get one that was designed for someone your size. its kinda like if someone wanted to get a motocross bike that was your size and wanted an 80 instead of a 125 or 250…even tho u r a beginner, the bike is still gonna be too small. hope that helps.

I used to have that same bike but mine was a 94…do not buy it it is slow as turds and everything on it was designed in the 70’s. I’d say get a smaller 4 stroke if you wanna learn on and have a good time…you are way to big for that bike anyways…i would say 140 lbs is about the most you should weigh to ride that thing…one cool thuing about it you dont have to mix the oil with the gas your self…under the seat you just fill up a small tank with oil and it mixes it for you

you’ll shoot your eye out kid!

take it from bics, his lanky ass was riding around on an RT waaaaay past the point he shouldve been. get something bigger, yet still tame enough to fit your needs

o well, its over 450 and thats too much. i bought a bicycle instead and am looking at a s10. next summer ill get a 250 and be set.

250 2 stroke or 4 stroke?

how should i know, is it summer 2006 already? :eek4:

when i get there and find out how much funds i have, ill decide.

I am just saying I think a 250 2 stroke might be a little too much bike for you if you are only 165 and havent ridden in a while. I dont think 165 is too light but that witht he combo of not ridden in a while and I doubt you something like a 250 7 years ago. I think a 250 4 stroke would be perfect, they aren’t as brutal as a 2 stroke can be and when you wanna rip they fly.

lol, i used to have 2 50’s, but which ever is cheaper, 2 stroke or 4 stroke
