What does chrome do when it's heat cycled?

i don’t want it consistently blue

i just want it to look kinda… old? ish? not blangity blang, not one big blue thing either…

so bust out the propane torch and do it up

psh - coat it with something…black >*

id say it would slightly change colors, probably noticibly… But i dont know how the chrome would take to the heat if you hit a puddle or something… Id just go with black

hard to tell, but the headers in my sig at that time had about 500 miles on them. i got another 600 on them, and they look exactly the same…now, as they did then…slight blue/bronze like mixture.

pffft… just make a Molybdenum exhaust…that shit gets real color excited when heated.

awww just like you then…its the Lafengas of metals <3

you could buy a sick turbo kit. Boost will raise your exhaust temps and will color more of your exhaust…

edit: i think the turbo would have to stay on the car for that plan to work though.

please don’t do it anodized blue, that would be horrible; I just picture it looking like a massive earls fitting
