I’m really surprised that happened. They had an orange safety barrel down at the end of the track - that should have prevented all of that.

Seriously, he was on the gas for a total of 3 seconds. It took him 5.1 seconds to coast to the barrel. That tells you how long that strip is. I’m glad I live in the US of A.
