oh yea find a good woman that will put up with my shit, and boy i got a lot of it, lol, and move in with her and pay as little rent as i can.
hmmm lets see
-NOT buy any more cars (i know, this is a hard one)
-learn how to manage money better (working on that already)
-pay off whats left of my credit card debt (almost done)
-get my NYS Paramedic certification
-MOVE THE HELL OUT OF MY HOUSE
-I’d like to say “buy a house” but id honestly be content with a nice apartment for the time being while i save money so i can put a large down payment on a nicer home when the time comes (see first item on list)
and because this is a car forum, as far as my 5 year plan for the Mustang goes:
-GET IT PAINTED
-do the LX swap
-finish up the interior
-get Chrome Pony rims
-supercharge
-5 speed swap
-enjoy it and be able to die a happy man haha
I’d like to own an NSX before the next 5 years are up. Would also prefer to make a nice dent in paying my house off by then.
Basics:
Get a degree (damn work)
Reach Assistant VP within 2 years (probably a cake walk with a degree :ham: )
House in the next year or 2
Still need to find a girl willing to put up with me

I had some things put into perspective tonight and I realize that I suck at life. I really don’t have a plan, I’m not very smart and and almost everyone treats me like shit, so in turn they get the same back. Not a good recipe for success. I guess I’m jsut a loser.

you sound just like me
Licensed Architect within 5 years
not be married
move to another country (just for a few years)
MBA
Buy a house
Participate in more motorsports
Not get married.
Grad School @ Buff State
Get placed as a Tech Teacher in Ken-Ton or Williamsville
My own apartment
Engaged?
If not engaged or placed for a job around here, possibly move to Maryland or SC and settle down there. (Highest Average Salary for Tech Teachers in US)
Next year it’s buy a house, start on my third degree, continue advancing at my new employer, and more freelance work. Year after that will be ring-on-the-finger time, pay down other debts, and continue work on the '68 fastback. after that, who knows, would like to start another investment eventually, but I’ve got other shit to do first.

what does retire wife?.. take her out of the work force or off this earth?
[/quote]
 obviously it means she isn’t gonna have to work anymore :gotme:
plans take all the fun out of it. F*ck plans.
Definately want to do more track days, maybe get into some sort of actual racing if I can afford it.
No goals, I want to keep where I’m at for the next 5 years.

100 bucks says you will get married :whip:
Immediate - Buy a condo, sell my cars
Longer - Move to europe or asia for a year
Really Long - have a huge smile on my face doing whatever I’m doing.
PS. I doubt anyone on here besides AWDrifter or Butch is/are going to retire in 5 years.
Last 5:
married
finished University with Honours
started a profitable business
Got a good job
travelled (europe, cali, nyspeed cruises)
Next year
Bought house - move in a couple weeks
Made a baby, due in January
Finish CMA designation in June
Next 5:
Be an executive with 6-figure salary
take 1, 2 or 3 current or budding ventures into legit businesses on the side
MBA, C.DIR, or LL.B started, maybe completed depending on which i choose
Visit Dubai
own a supercar (porsche, lotus, nothing too too crazy)
upgrade into another home without selling the current one
purchase commerical property
If my uncle doesnt sell his company i will be taking it over within 5 years… that would basically make a couple of the plans come true.

You graduated with honors and you can’t even spell the word
i kid i kid
Well seeing as i move in a week i have to start kinda fresh.
My main goal is to go back to school and get my degree at a university instead of a community college.
Find a decent job that will work around my school schedule.
and if i am making decent money, pay off the car and mod it some more.
Next 5
PE, LEED licenses
Double my current pay rate
Married
Kid
Move to San Diego

hmm 5 years. i like to take life as it comes.
well i guess pay my car off, keep advancing at current job(s), hopefully go back to school and get that stupid degree. Biggest goal for the end of the next 5 years is selling the house i just moved into and buy one a tad bigger, or keep it and rent it out.
