man that sucks,

and that $90,000 doesnt go to aid workplace safety either, it goes right into the gun registry.

i have a question though that is NOT directly related to this issue.

why does ignorance to the law not obsolve one from liability under the law, but ignorance to health and safety polcies (ontario health and safety act) obsolves employees from accountability and places it on the employer?

im working on a big thick appeal with the WSIB at work right now and there are alot of questions that i would love to raise.

i hate the ontario and federal government… frig

That’s not entirely true, if you arn’t wearing the proper safety equipment that you know you should be wearing, the ministry of labour can fine you the employe. And if you know of something that is going on that is unsafe and do nothing about it, you can also be held accountable for it, as the employe.

in theory yes, but i just went through a full out WSIB audit, believe me… the employer is the bad guy, the employees the victims
