I’m aware and if I ever built a drag car that was a rwd v8 with lots of power, it would be an automatic, but I’m not going to build a 1/4 mile car

i think modded automatics are fine. if you manage to get urs into some low numbers(if you like to drag it) then its fine. as much as you guys bash the autos, the fastest dragsters are automatic
