four doors, black, doesnt use gas, right hand drive, drives on the left hand side of the road, does wicked burn outs, races everything on the motor way ( ie. r8’s, s4’s, m’s, 335’s, lotus’s, ect… )?
It is my rental car in the UK, it is an 09 bmw 530d, the car has 300 miles (enough to get it here from the docks, i was told) on it, and i wish i could bring it back to the states with me. Power, Speed, Class and 35+ mpgs! This car is great, seats five and fully load for a night on the town beat a lotus (sorry newman) from ~35 (a round a bout) to 100 mph. talking to the locals that i am working with, have a BMW hook up and i am going to stop by his shop so he can retune it! then he will be able sell the flash to others. He is hoping for a safe 25% improvement. good thing i have the extra insurance…i will have pics loaded when i get back in the states.
I know, this car is BAD ASS, smooth, handles great <100 and >100, and gets great mpg’s. the only “bad” thing i havefound with the car is the HUD is “slow” above <100 for the nav., i missed an off ramp. but has soon has i slowed down it rerouted me.
i cant wait, i guess this car has some new turbo and i dont have to get it inspected for co2. i get to hang out with of 1d’s, M’s and find out the ins and outs of these cars… plus i am the only one on the insurance so i have to be the clutch!
i dont know. WHY we dont have these cars, no smoke, quite, and 35+ mpg’s.
on the way home from dropping some one off at the airport i got pulled over, doing 35 in a 30, the “traffic cop” came up and started to give me the normal talk until i spoke, then i showed my passport and he “mate, that is a shit load of paper work” have a nice day. Then told me to watch the camera’s and marked down on my map where they are! now only if i can program them into the GPS to not take those roads…
yes, i know, and when i finish my MBA, and the new house is built. time will tell but it is on the shopping list. USED is the only way i could swing one.
