Got offered to travel to Cuse to fab up a turbokit for a tiburon board member, im not very active in the tiburon community anymore except for a few leftover projects, but he insisted with $$ so i decided to take a vacation and head up there to do it, figured it would be fun…
got there, turns out the car is kinda ricey… rattle can painted veilside kit… but the kid was TRYING to put some power in teh car so what the hell
this kid bought my old hyper u motor from me 3 years back with the intention of turboing his car then… through some setbacks from a previously shitty reseller he gave up, but was running the 8.5:1 compression motor NA for over a year… and as i found out his trans had no gear oil in it… and he said it was shifting fine… but there was not a drop of gear old that came out of the thing… whatever
so here it is… gtr30r with dual fuel rail setup and a SMT-6… there were alot of rusty/stuck bolts that caused delays in the project, i broke 2 strut bolts that required drilling and an air hammer to get out… added like 6 hours of time to the project that we didnt have
