What modern autos will someday be classics?

I said it a few pages back but it’s worth repeating. Grab your wallet and go get yourself a nice analog American V-8 car. Stick shift, with a big V-8, and the ability to turn all of the nannies off.

Camaro 2013-2015 SS 1LE
Camaro 2014-2015 Z/28
Camaro 2016-current SS 1LE
Shelby GT350
Shelby GT350R

They will be worth a mint in 10 years. You won’t be able to buy anything in the 2030’s that doesn’t come with some sort of electric-power, and you won’t find a manual transmission.

Only 424 were ever produced. My guess would be only a handful left as they were probably primarily used as a rally car and beat to shit.

buddy of mine just picked up an SS Maro in 6mt for a song last year as a secondary car.

i can agree that those will be going way up in value over time.

I bought my Z for $46k in 2018. That’s what the average price was. Now I could sell it for $55k+. Same with the GT350R’s. They dipped for a bit and now are climbing fast.

Really like the C7s, I would consider a C6 with the C7 headlight swap, it’s a whole new car.

Toyotas apparently

CT4-V Blackwing with 6 speed. The 6 speed not only benefits from the manual but also gets the titanium rods

Until they rub when the coating wears off. I just sent my rods out for another coating. The Ti rods are super strong but they have their own issues.

Does this happen a lot?

Edit - I want a C5 Z06, they’re going up in price.

With the ls7 it’s more how the car is used. From my time on the forum. The people that drive their z06 like pussies eat the rods. The guys who drive the car the way it was meant seem to not have issues. When I pulled my rods (11k on engine) I saw the very beginning signs of galling on cylinder 5/6. Once I got the engine torn down completely you can see the main caps were moving around. I ran the car at 850+ whp last year. This is easily double the sae crank hp. The bearings all looked great. The photos you’ll see some black marks on the cheeks. This is where the 2 rods made contact. The rod with what looks like black paint is a CT-3 coating from calico coatings.

A well-known local one just popped up on marketplace. $20k with all the drag racing bling, $16k as a stock-ish runner.

Let me check this out.

EDIT- It’s heavily modded, not a bad thing just not my thing. Looking for something stock, at most basic bolt ons.
