I was just thinking about the true benefits I have at my job, and was wondering how it stacks up to other people on here. At first I thought I got great benefits, now I think I can do better or the same anywhere.
I can’t mention where I work in a public forum, but I’ll tell you the basic perks. I’ve been there for about 2 years…
2.5 Weeks Vacation.
Tons of manager approved time for leaving early (sent early with pay)…
6% 401k Match, fully vested after 3 years.
$3000/yr educational grant.
Health insurance runs about 50 per month.
In office gym for 15/month.
The usual paid holidays and 2 weeks vacation + personal time and sick time

I have been working 1 year as of last Wednesday. When I first started right out of college I received:
2008 Chevy HHR with Gas/Oil Change card to drive from my house to work
Great starting pay and hourly so I am free to take overtime when needed.
Travel for work which cover all 3 meals, get paid for the time traveling if off hours or weekends, and some entertainment
Required on call about one week every month and a half but get paid 3 standard hours for the week just for the inconvenience of being on call and then any call you take is pure over time.
Laptop and Cell Phone (Pay 1/2 my iPhone ATT monthly cost since I use it for personal too)
18 personal days off the first year I started plus 9 company holidays

Also, 403b matched + 2%, more vacation & sick days than I can use. But what’s more important is that I spend a lot of time just shooting the breeze with faculty.
