If it were my car I would go for some good winter tires like Blizzaks, or Gislaveds. When summer comes get another set of wheels and some Azenis. They are fine in normal rain but you have to be really carefull in standing water b/c they hydroplane like a bitch. If he wants something a little less aggressive then the ES100 or Ecsta MXs are both really good.

nice choice…its one of the best perfromance tires you can get…just mad pricy, and not that good in the water.

Yoko A022 are similar…very nice but very pricy!
