what SCCA Solo class would i wind up in w/ these mods ?

prepared class doesnt allow firewall mods for block / head, so im automaticly DQ’ed from running that class

EM it is then. The good news is that the class is pretty well-represented locally in WNY and especially FLR, so you’ll have somebody to run against, with a pretty wide spread of speed. Just off the top of my head:

  • turbo rotary-powered Fiat X1/9 (probably the 2nd fastest EM car/driver in the area, although not that far off the number one)
  • three-rotor MG Midget (With up to three drivers, the fastest in the class in this area, and competitive nationally)
  • The scratch-built Cobra - This was their first year running this all-new car, and they have gotten faster with every event. I hope you got a good look at it when it was here, it is an impressive piece of machinery.
  • Not one, not two, but three LS1-powered FC RX7’s
  • a Porsche 914 with some kind of V8 swapped in
  • A '79 Olds Cutlass
