5mm? 7mm? 10mm?
Would 10mm be too big to go with the stock stud bolts?
I need spacers for up front to clear my z-brakes without having to go to
longer hub bolts.
And no I’m not buying these spacers but rather getting them custom
made. :noes:
I’m contemplating on the following:
Get 60mm ARP studs from PDM ($54cad shipped) which would require new
lugnuts since they are 12x1.5mm thread pitch.
Or get 60mm 240sx spec studs (which are 12x1.25mm thread pitch) but
these are $110cad shipped.
I guess once I have the proper stud lengths I can decide how big a spacer
I want to get made.
BTW, What’s the stock stud length?

5mm is the longest you can use.
why would you pay $54 for ARP studs when i can get them so much cheaper.
u know what G… i am pretty sure we have covered this many times recently… SEARCH!!!

Have we? I don’t recall any of your threads talking about studs.
Anywho, how cheap we talking? 60mm ARP 12x1.5mm right? Or can
you get 60mm 12x1.25 ones?

12 x 1.5 is a different pitch then our stock studs (12 x 1.25), meaning you will have to get new lugnuts to match. So add an extra $30-$40 ontop of that.
As far as I know, ARP does not make studs in our nissan pitch.
I ordered my 60mm studs from Peak Performance, which carry our 12 x 1.25 pitch. $5 US a peice.

Yea, PDM has these at $5ea as well. So roughly $112CAD shipped.
I think I’ll just get some 5mm spacers made for now and see how it goes.

if u get the longer studs u wont be able to put your centre caps on unless you get 15mm spacers
i think you should go in with me and get 4 15mm spacers and studs all around
then you can have flush wheels and clear your brakes
yay!

I’m gonna see what kind of clearance I have on the spacers for my
Volk wheels. GOing to see how the first pair of spacers turn out and then
I’ll go ahead. I’ll let you know if I’m ready to grab the studs off ya.
Gautam I wouldn’t run any spacer on stock bolts.
Maybe at most 3mm on the street but a 5mm IMO spells Danger!
I had 25mm Adapters and they made the Rims Fluch with the Fenders.

Here’s what I might end up doing…
Get 60mm studs from Bing or some shit. Get 18mm spacers made.
If things work as planned, I should be able to run with the OEM wheels
as well as the Volks.
If I ran the Volks on 18mm spacers, I’d have +7 up front and +10 rear.

Bing, how soon can you ship me these 60mm studs? And for how much?
If they’re like $45cad shipped to my door (you can probably ship
them in the same bubblerap package that I used to ship your CDs - its like $2) then I’ll probablly get a set off ya.
How much can you get 60mm studs that are 12x1.25mm thread pitch?
I already have a set of 12x1.5 lug nuts that came with with my Volks.
I got extra studs! and I am close!! haha msg me on msn for price ect.
