Studs and spacers

would 2.5" extended studs be long enough to accomidate a 30mm spacer? if so, i found a site i can get 16 shipped for about $100, my local performance shop wanted over twice that price.

check it out:

… anyone?

Just buy bolt on spacers with built in studs.

then im stuck with that spacer. id rather just get extended studs so in the future i can use different spacers

what are the best quality / longest studs?

i think once you pass 15mm you have to go with bolt on spacers. you’ll be putting too much stress on the studs… in addition you wont have enough thread for the lug nuts to hold on to

30mm is 1" and a little bit…unfortunately as you increase the length of the stu…YOU SHOULD increase the diameter…if not you are talking some serious cash for unbreako’s or some ARP’s…einther way the bolt on spacers are usually the way to go after 3/4" sad but true otherwise you can look at snapping the flange off the front wheels and dropping 1 of your front wheels face down and dragging it across the intersection…mmm yummy curb rash

Peak makes two different lengths of studs afaik, 50mm and 60mm, which ones are those?

30mm is too wide of a spacer for any stud.

stock studs are 40mm, so getting a 60mm stud means you are equivalent to a 10mm spacer on stock studs which cannot be done, or at least shouldnt be.

if you really need 30mm+ you have to get bolt ons.

why do you need a spacer that big?

Because he prolly has really crappy high offset rims.

what shop are u going to please dont say p.i

im surprized p.i doesnt have a pirate ship parkd out front.
