Its come time to part with my car, I’ll be making a permanent move to Vietnam. Its a 2004 with 28k miles on the chassis and about 17k on the motor. KBB private party value is $18,845 and KBB retail value is $20,820, I’ve also added about $25,000 in mods. I think my asking price of $27,000 obo is reasonable. However I am OPEN TO OFFERS.

I will be the first to say, That color blows.
yes, i posted this car for its color
Wow those dyno numbers are surprising. That thing should be fun.
#'s are right on for the better intake mani and custom exhaust system and tuned KPRO
Yeah it’s just surprising. I went back to the pics to see if I had missed something. I’m impressed.
so a lot more money dumped into a MR2 Spyder, and less power than a stock Exige S, am I missing something?
Apparenlty you are missing reading comprehension skilllz cuz I said Elise, not exige.
And we all know hp#'s alone determine a car’s performance, amirite?
to explain the title: the elise should’ve come w/ the JDM K20 instead of that pos toyota motor.
meh elise with warranty>that
Exige S > that
there are a few people that tried making the MRS elise killers, they all have failed. Head to head, same track, same drive, same day the Elise was faster than the MRS.

lol
since when do people on this site really care about warranties?
you are also comparing a blown 4 vs an NA4…i’d hope the S would make more power than a stock K20 with “custom” intake/exhaust manifolds lol. what motor were those MRS’ running in those comparisons? JDM K20’s?
but he is sayin an elise with the Honda motor would jsut absolutely dominate
Blown 2ZZE, had more power, but had more weight.
plus there are a decent amount of K20/K24 swapped elises/exige running around.
MRS isn’t the best performing chasis.
how much? like 10lbs, aka the weight of the blower and associated parts?
you didn’t answer my question tho, what motors were in the MRS’ in that competition you mentioned?
I’m not saying the MRS is omg so leet, I’ve ALWAYS been a Lotus <3’er but u seem to harbor some deep down hate for the MRS / Kseries combo…?
I think that right there is an awesome looking car(in a different color) and probably performs really well with k20a and suspension mods.
just link that comparo if you can find it. the whole point of this post was that lotii + k-series = the win
