Last year for TWC I had like14 vacation days, 2 personal, and like a billion sick hours to use at the end of the year. I started taking Friday/Saturdays off (I had Sun/Mon off) and boy was it enjoyable.
Roll over what you can, cash what you can, and then what you have left either take a getaway to Vegas, or make some long weekends around the holiday time.
If your work doesn’t give you a nice Christmas time off, use it then.
I found out I had a week and a half to use before the end of 08, not next year, next day, booked a flight to spain! can’t wait leaving next week!
My usual progression is as follows:
Take 1 or 2 week-long vacation for the summer. Then I end up taking Fridays off for NOvember and December and sometimes mondays and fridays. Last december I worked a total of 11 days all month.
just make sure u travel somewhere during your days off
Fri and Mondays for a few weeks is awesome
