Basically, I’ve been hating my car lately. Every little thing that I see as wrong most people wouldn’t notice, but pisses me off bad. Like random interior trim rattling when I turn the volume up on my stereo, the way the brakes vibrate if I need to stop in a hurry, the two scratches in the paint, the rust/oxidation on the wheels, the rattling of my exhaust when the car is in park idling (when it’s cold out), the missing centercap on the front passenger side wheel… it goes on and on.
But it’s come down to this. I’m tired of my car. My parents decided that they would want it back for my dad or sister to drive, but i’ve come down to this.
-Keep the Jeep and deal with the shit.
-Sell back to parents, buy 1997 Audi A6. (Auto/2.8L/Quattro) For a good price.
Whoever you handed money to would prob have the title.
Why wouldn’t the Audi be your first choice?
Logically speaking, drive-ability of an Audi we be of far more valuable than having a ‘nice set of cheap wheels’. Chances are the stock Audi wheels are ‘mo-better’
if your mind can be changed by a set of wheels, you are definitely not thinking clearly. i got rid of plenty of great cars at your age because of small things i wished were different.
Oh, I’ve thought it out. The wheels are just a big part of the little things that piss me off. The gas mileage being the first. (If it was fast, I wouldn’t care about gas mileage.)
Sometimes it’s like… shit I want a little rice burner because of the gas… other times it’s like I want a big luxury car, other times it’s like… My Jeep is kind of bad ass. All the time I think I want a fucking Shelby GT500, but that’s just not thinking logically at this point in time. haha
