1GAlty, your bit about the Dodge Aspen reminded me of a friend who had one. It was a POS, but he decided he didn’t have quite enough power, so he thought he’d “supercharge” it. He filled the washer flud tank with gasoline, and then spliced the tube into the fuel line - so then whenever he needed a boost he’d just hit the washer button.

The funny part is that it actually worked…until the car caught on fire and burned to bare metal in his backyard.

i to also had a a 1985 Corolla GTS for a first car man wut a car that was until one fateful day of a man name Tony Hoi to destroy it and all its beauty.

Now I curently drive a JDM S13

Nah, I bought a 2001 VW GTI VR6 after that. I put a T3/T04E on it about 6 months later, then 18 months later insurance found out and hiked my rates to $10,000/y, so I had to sell it… :frowning: The VR6 was my first true love.

Since everyone’s going through the history: I went through a couple more beaters and a couple of bikes after that, and have finally settled on my current 240sx, and a 2005 R1.

My boyfriend, a couple of friends, and myself did the swap. It wasn’t too bad because we used the old transmission from the CA18ET and the engine bolted straight on. We didn’t do the wiring harness but we still have the schematics.

Thats pretty cool. I wouldnt mind seeing that car. You’ll have to bring it to a meet.
