Because people here tend to hump 4th gens because they have the ls1 option.
Basically, your most basic car will be the second gen, finding one around here in good shape good luck.

buy a 500$ honda beater, your insurance is still gonna be like 1800+ on it for a year, and enjoy 40mpg.

I’ve been in the front engined Porsche game for uhh oh the past 8 years in virtually every facet.
Your early NA with neons, rimz and polished engine parts isn’t worth shit on the current market. Especially since the 944/951 market just took a dive. You can get a decent turbo car in need of a few things for an equal or lesser price. Hell 3 968’s have gone for sub $7k in the past month.
So I’ll say it slightly differently, GET A FUCKING CLUE.
