No, what they need to do is STOP introducing all these new model names. It kills brand recognition. Does everyone know what a 3 series is? Of course. The name hasn’t changed since 1975 (thanks wiki). Everyone knows what a Corvette is, that’s about the only GM that hasn’t changed names. I’ve used this example multiple times on here in the past and it still holds true.
Big 3 keep changing all the names and tossing some off-the-wall shit into the hat stating they are starting the “American Revolution”…no dumb asses, ur displaying what numskulls you are to the rest of the world.
Refine what you’ve already got before giving birth to another clusterfuck. 5 yr rotating product development and turnover. cake. Stop making 3 of the same car! everybody knows its the same gosh darn thing with a different bumper cover on it! lol, Redunancy kills and GM is getting burned. They got too big for their own good, it’s not just the unions but they have their dark sides as well. What it comes down to is 1)and most likely, they can be stubborn and be without jobs or 2)take a relatively small paycut and continue ‘working’. Being that they are accustomed to their higher living standards, they shouldn’t have to squander with the rest of the American working force. And after watching that wonderful display of idiocy via the Mayor of Lansing, Detroit is going to be in a world of hurt.
