Looking to buy a cordless impact, I’m not sure what is the brand to get.
I don’t want to spend a few hundred bucks on a snapon, probably 150ish tops for a decent one.
Whats a good brand?
This thing won’t be used often, mostly just to rotate tires, and do brake jobs.

Ha, do you have the cheapass 29 dollar one, or the 79 dollar chicago electric one?

dewalt ftw
I have had one for a long long time at work and it has been dropped left in the rain and it still keeps rocking
Dewalt DW059K-2 ~ $250ish
Snapon ct4850 ~ $morish
I would be using it daily and would want to take lugs off and such. Don’s snap-on one is pretty baller.
be prepeared to pay $500 for it but you will never ever use another gun again.
18V snap-on … FT mutha fuckin W … I know people that wont even use air impacts afetr using mine
My dewalt is the shit too, used non stop at the shop, just so easy to use and strong as fuck
The shop 18v snap-on is great, used everyday hard. I did break it once.
Its overkill for you.
I’m sure you’re right about how great they are. When I was wrenching I was going to buy a 3/8 one because I was always taking off covers on forklifts. I thought the Milwaukee was a good deal. I planned on buying one of them but still too much money for JustinH. I won’t buy one now since I won’t use it enough and the $100 batteries will just go to shit from sitting.
I’d say just buy the best one you can find for the 150 you want to spend. It won’t get a tool truck one or a milwaukee for that money but you should get something decent.
I have a Makita 3/8" electric 12v impact and I love it. As for 1/2" the only one I’d ever buy is the 18v snapon.
