i guess i don’t really see jesus as that religious.
even non religious people celebrate christmas and easter. thats what i was getting at.
I find it interesting that there are so many Catholic people here that don’t bother anymore. Similar to myself. Once I went to college the religion thing changed for me. My uncle did the same thing. He was super religious, went to church every week, then in his 40’s went back to college and now thinks that things done in Catholicism are silly and never goes to church. It seems the more educated people get, the less dependent on religion they are. Not always the case, but something I’ve noticed in many of the people I know who have moved away from religion. Just an observation.

i think life experiences and partially educational background contributes to someones devoutness (sp?) but it is true, once i got into high school really i stopped going to church and stopped believing in the sunday school crap i was told. i still celebrate lent, easter, and xmas, like i said before, just out of tradition. and the only time i go to church is midnight mass on xmas eve, and its not for the religious aspect but for almost the social one. :shrug:

everyone has there beliefs. ur entitled to that. dont get offended with the asshole comment. we cant really help it. if you celebrate it thats fine no one should be judged for there religous beliefs.
No, I seriously dont have many vices to give up anymore. I have already ditched pop, candy, and type of junk food, I watch virtually no TV, uhhh I dont even have a car right now to race around in and stuff… I dont know, and Im not going to give up running.

ive been trying to stop cracking my knuckles for a while. I usually say im gonna do something stupid, like give up studying, or going to school. But im gonna use lent to discipline myself and stop cracking my knuckles. Im compulsive about it, and my hands always hurt from doin it. so its time to quit for good. thanks jesus.
