I’m glad to hear that you haven’t had any problems with the low oil levels for that short period of time. I just do my own oil changes, a little cheaper and you know you get the shit done right the first time.
the one time ive gotten an oil change at a shop i told the cashier " nothing against your shop, but i expect you to tell me when u install the filter and plug so i can watch that its tight"
he looked at my for a moment, then agreed
ive heard b4 that one of the major oil change chains spends more a year on engines then oil filters … which would be easy to do if you fucked up 1/5 of a % of the cars ur shop does
1/5th seem high… prolly 1/20th. Most people don’t know who to blame, so they take it to the dealership.
That sucks though, glad to hear it’s okay. DIYness of +1 for the win.
