from that alone i can get yours and your entire familys info if i wanted to… small precautions always help… if someoen really wants info about you they can get it.

the difference is that putting your car on the internet is like advertising it on a billboard

im sure if i wanted to, i could find 10 cars worth ripping off easier by searching this site then by driving around town

when a car is parked on the side of the road, id only be guessing if it had swet shit in it thats easily stolen, but stereo / engine bay pics on the internet tell me exactly what i would be getting for my effort

theres one board memeber, that while at a meet, specificly asked me NOT to take pics of his interior because of what he had in his car. and on top of that, the car itself was worth ripping off also. its not like it was a $2000 car with $100 worth of stereo stuff, it was a new car worth 30K , and at least 10k in mods … why would he want that advertised ?

you dont put your license plate online for the same reason you dont put your phone number and other shit. Its stupid and a lot of people you dont want to have your info will have it.

It’s to protect ur investment. I stay pretty tightlipped about my car because I have had cars stolen b4 and shit stolen out of em.

Plus any asshole can make up a story and say anything to the cops and Be like yeah it looks like this and heres his plate #. Some crazy ppl out there

Of course there are theives out there who don’t know what is valuable and what is not. I had asshole theives take an $80 used battery and leave a $300 turbo behind.
