Is there any way to tell how much life these have left in them ? and anyone know how much it is to get a new one/installled?

well, one way is take ure hands put them on postition 1 o clock and 7 o clock more or less and check for play, by pushing one hand in and pulling one hand out. usually if theres play its the bearings

also sorry i think most places charge 3 hrs for that job in the rear front im not sure. but i think the book says 3 hrs labour.
