wheels =)

i dont wanna replace the ones on my bike, but does anyone here paint wheels or know a place? ive never done anything to my bike except gut the muffler which is now incredibly fucking loud
i dont know much about modding bikes so for now i wanna stick to exterior looks =) i dont wanna power mod till i buy my next one cause im still a new rider =)
back to looks, with my black bike id like them to be either glossy dark blue or red, not sure yet, maybe something like this?

the red looks very similar to a candy apple I powdercoated my brakes:

if you have a polished aluminum rim… it’s as simple as getting a translucent red powdercoat.

i like the blue better, but thats just me.

if you want to mod your bike but don’t want to do power mods:

do suspension

I’m partial to blue myself. But the red looks awesome too.

pics of bike?

Im in the process of getting my wheels powder coated. I’ll let you know how they turn out.

i like the blue the best

if you do red, match the yammy stickers or something

meh, talk to ieatpaint, he did his with paint and they turned out well, not to mention seem to be holding up amazingly for 2 seasons now. WHEELS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE TO BUY AFTERMARKET, why not go to buffalo finishing and get them anodized or powder coated?

also no offense, but if thats your first bike, id advise leaving it stock and just riding it for a season, if you change the wheel colors and make it less appealing its going to lose value…

my suggestion, unless the wheels are pitting/chipped/corroded leave it alone and spend the money on a bike you plan on keeping for a while…

+1 on just waiting.

this will be my 2nd season with the bike, im not in a hrury to get rid of it, but i do want to change things on it like flush turns and getin the license plate thingy off its fucking ugly

Do what makes you happy then. just try not to de-value the bike, if you have any plans to sell it. And remember, typically any thing you put into it is a non-recoverable cost :frowning:

QFT, so what color lol, it doesnt have to be either of those, name another that you htink would look good
