Sadly it’s an internet myth,

like less than 2% of each model has lost it’s self to premature failures such as ringlands, spun bearings, etc.

a great many more is the numbers of engines that go boom from abuse, like shitty tunes, money shifts, severe beatings, oil starvation.

I may have a long wait

well i dont care if it does either way, but i know of 4 EJ257’s that have went boom around here.
