So when is a good time to throw on the winters around here. This will be my first Alberta winter. I don’t want to put them on and have no snow until December and my summers are pretty much new and are sticky in the wet.
I put them on once we have snow on the ground that stays and doesn’t melt.
I think last year it was january around here. I hate steelies.
So put some winters on your stock wheels. 
I’m too cheap to switch over the tires every winter/spring. Besides I already have the steelies and they aren’t wide like the stockers.
I use my stock rims also… I will wait till the snow stays for more than a day… I’m too scared to drive on the stock conti’s.

I find it really slippery on dry or semi dry pavement with winter tires …they are too soft … wait until it is cold outside below zero as well as snow on the ground

i just drive slow when its slippery, im waiting till it snows (for good )also, until i put on my winter rims on, i also bought some splash guards for the winter, im also waiting till it snows to put them on.

yah winters can usually wait till the snow stays…unless your winters are my summers :axe: ! damn u 2003specv, eventually i will do that but engine mods are just so much more fun than rims!

Don’t hate me too much, I’m rocking 91+ 240SX wheels (the Ford Tempo lookin 7 spokes) on my Spec V this winter. They look only slightly less gay than your teardrops.

yea, i saw that, it was parked almost next door to the hotel i was staying at. Didn’t look THAT bad, but the body kit on it wasn’t the greatest.
