Where could I find.......

New carpet for the floor of my s13? I’d like black carpet. I don’t need carpet for under the hatch, just under the seats.

Is there somewhere I could buy this from that wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg? Or should I try to find some used black carpet?

Pull what you have in it now, clean it really well and then paint it with upholstery paint. You’ll be surprised how well that stuff works.

Well I’d rather save myself the trouble if there was a reasonably priced alternative.

Do you have pics of automotive carpet that was painted? A link? Or maybe someone here has done it already???

Its cheap on Ebay. Doesnt fit perfect I hear, takes a bit of cutting. I plan on picking some up this winter.

I thought you were full of crap, but WOW. Check this out

Another weekend project for me!

Holy crap, I’m totally doing that!!! Louis, lets split a can

Holy crap. Where do you get this stuff?

I think CT sells it.

I would if it didn’t take 2 cans to do the whole carpet.

lol. I was thinking about it last night. Need to debate more if I want to do this. Color matching and all you know.

Yeah I used that stuff on a seat in an old truck I used to have it worked amazingly well, but don’t sit on it while its still a little damp while wearing a white shirt. It kinda sucks when you do that.

How well did it hold up on your seats?

I can’t wait to do my carpet.

Hmm, I wonder if you could do a roof?

Some guys in that same thread were talking about it. I guess it can turn out blotchy real easy on the roof panel.

The seat worked real well but you need patience to get it even.

Does the carpet smell like paint when it is dry?

If you read the thread I posted, the guy guy says it doesn’t smell as long as you let it dry well before putting it back in.
