So I’ve done all the external bolt-ons(i/h/e electric fan, coil, new oem wires cap rotor, platnium plugs, batt relocate and others I can’t recall) and I can’t figure where to go next… I don’t want to add boost, but is this all I can get out of the KA without taking major components appart? I was playing around with the exhaust cam on the intake side… but i don’t want to get into major work, or have to worry about excessive fuel tuning(daily driver)… any ideas??
coilovers and suspention work if u want bang for ur buck
there is a supercharger you can get for ka’s that i belive is almsot adirect bolt on and was posted here not to long ago. i think nico probably would have all the info on it. someonme was selling one. if you dont like boost and want direct throttle response that charger is def the way to go
or u can start throwing on some pullies.
bigger fuel pump
Lighten the car.
lose the spare, carpet in the trunk, speakers in the back, the back seat, resonator, AC, heat shields, put the smallest battery in you can find, door panels, back wiper.
i wouldn’t mind lightening it, it’s a coupe so I could find some things to go… while still keeping it esthically pleasing. I always thought pulley’s killed your top end accelleration?? will a bigger fuel pump require ecm tuning?
