Where to dispose of Asbestos floor tiles locally?

I took these tiles out of my basement and I need to get rid them. Putting them to the curb isn’t an option so who can take these?

Before you guys tell me that I am going to die, I soaked the floor and popped them with a putty knife. There was no dust and they didn’t break. I’m pretty sure I will live.

West Seneca will take anything <40lbs in a plastic bag. Tires, batteries, etc. They’re required to accept anything from homeowners that they can lift up in a plastic bag, and they’ve been pretty good to me since I had to empty my basement as I bought my second estate worth of dead people’s stuff. As long as you don’t leave a huge pile of loose crap, they’ll make it go away.

Thanks Spam, I have been good to my garbage guys. I bundle 2x4’s and bag everything with Husky bags. I guess I will just bag em up and take 2 or 3 out a week.

The average person can throw them out normally, any type of business or industry has to dispose of them as hazardous waste.

How many do you have? I would be willing to come get them depending on the amount.

About 225 sq. ft. worth. I have some left to do, but your more than willing to come and get them if you want them.
