Where to get a good cheap burger?

This place is a hole in the wall but what a great burger.

I went to Vizzi’s last week. The waitress there said ever since she’s been working there (4 years), the restaurant has been for sale. Apparently it just never got the right price.

I live a few blocks over if anyone wants meat for a beer and burger.

oh, ive also had a few burgers from mac’s on hertel (the old empire) both were eh imho. and they have a lot of work to do to keep business… I understand that they just opened but I ordered the same drink 3 times at the bar while waiting on a table. they just would take my order and then just walk away. JUAT

the garbage plates that they offer from 11-2? thur-sat are worth a trip though. pretty good!! I was pretty intoxed though

Pretty sure most garbage plate decisions are made while intoxicated.

Anyone tried Stack Burger on OP Road in West Seneca that opened up recently? Takeout only is kind of a turn off.

Boomerangs on Niagara St.

Have had 2 in 2 weeks…Delicious!

I have been to hundreds of burger joints in many places far and wide, but the other day I tried Vizzy’s for the first time, they cooked my burger to perfection (rare), and it was absolutely delicious. Better than Grover’s if I had to choose between both.

Was just there with @ProgRocker

Burgers are amazing!!!

Been meaning to check out ABV with the girl, it looks pretty good.

Just curious, not being a dick, what is it about there burgers that are so good?

Size, meat quality, seasoning, price, properly cooked…in no particular order.

Cool. I ask as I have no idea why people think Teds is the second coming of Christ???

You and me both there…

Teds is good, but honestly it’s a freaking hotdog. Big whoop.

The same can be said for Louie’s.

A good friend of mine was hired as CEO of teds relatively recently (year or two ago) because they needed a lot of help.
He recently had them change up their burgers to 100% angus whatever, from the same supplier as Five Guys…as well as, added bacon to the menu - we went there and tried it out. A double cheese burger w/ bacon from teds is legit really, really good. Srs.
Burgers used to make up about 11% of their sales and already have jumped to 25% ever since…50% being hot dogs, and 25% being everything else.

I haven’t read any of this thread nor do I eat burgers (sorry dudes) but a restaurant called “Juicy” just opened up in the building that my shop is in. They specialize in gourmet burgers and I have heard awesome reviews from people in town. You can check out their menu here: http://www.juicyburgerbar.com/menu/

Sahlen’s dogs suck period, no flavor (IMO). Go with Nathan’s (voted #1 in the nation) or Hebrew National (my personal fav), all beef FTW. Man I miss Fudruckers.

x2, you will notice right away. Only thing They could have done better was the bacon, over cooked too crunchy, but the flavor of the burger made that insignificant.

See, I like my steak still walking but bacon needs to be crunchy for me. All that white nastiness needs to snap, not feel like I’m chewing on tendons

I don’t want it crunchy, but I don’t want it white either, I like my bacon like I like my women, Hispanic.
