Brunners, but I have no idea if they were really “cheap”, per se.
It was staggering distance form my old house so we didn’t really care all that much.

It’s a little past Kenmore but, Rohall’s Corner is on Amherst St off Elmwood, right across from Wegmans.
Not in the ritzy Elmwood Village so it’s priced more reasonably, and has a great beer selection.
I tend bar there on Wednesdays also, and do a guest DJ night from 9-midnight.
im always dropping the ball dre. when its Wednesday and I want a drink I go see andy at frizzys (there is usually a dan hagen in attendance as well)
I have to remember! Wednesdays!
Every time I go to Caputies, it is like a Kenmore East High School reunion.
Every single time.
Heard.
remind!!!
I’ve honestly never been in Del Denby’s ironically. If on Hertel, I’m at Mel’s, Mac’s (I think the overall consensus is “Meh”), for a truly late night, Gecko’s.
You can go to to Brunner’s on Main, I’ve only had one drink there because it was so fucking packed for a show, I couldn’t get to the bar. Dooley’s, had drinks here a couple times, only thing it had going for me was I could walk there and it had beer (also has Kitchen), Broadway Joe’s?
Just moved in around the corner from there, gonna give them a try this weekend.
Small town… It turns out My wife and I know the owner of Del Denby’s.
Now I have a better reason to check it out.
