Where to get dry ice?

I’ve been looking around unsuccessfully for a place that deals with dry ice.

I don’t need any more than a cup size and every place I went to looked at me like I’ve got two heads.

Any ideas?

There use to be a place in Albany called Happy Ice but I am not sure if they moved out of their old building. Hit up the phone book cause thats how I found it.

Iirc carpanello ice (I prob spelled that wrong) has it, on 9j outside of rensselaer

United Welding Supply in Glenville, I think you have to buy it in a 5 or 10lb block, maybe ~$20…

whats u gunna do with it? throw it in a pool?

No you gotta throw some thing better in the pool like sodium

was that the shit? I couldnt remember what it was. I thought it was magnisium for some reason maybe. In HS our teacher brought us out to a pond and threw a brick in. As soon as it hit the water it poped and shot back up in the air, then came back down and exploded again, it was like leap frog cool as hell.

dryice bombs are fun, put it in a gateraid bottle, cap that shit and send it to the bottome of the pool with a weight. kabloooie

There are a bunch of different ones and magnesium is probably one but it may be harder to get your hands on that one.

id guess sound deadening removal y0

Potassium is the one you really want. That shit is damn near explosive when it hits water.

Yes thank you I couldnt recall which one really did damage

:ahh

Francium is the most reactive metal, but I don’t think it can even be handled because of the moisture in the atmosphere

what you want is plutonium

and a 1985 DeLorean

And a guy with Parkinsons

I’ll follow on the leads. Thanks.

I checked, Carpinello does sell it. No idea how big of a size or price though

Can I ask what you need it for?

Mechanical application.

Don’t worry, don’t have time for shenanigans.

LOL, a cup full. Call a seafood company and ask nice. Perhaps “Prime Selection”. hehe, beg nice.

Dry Ice comes in blocks/cubes
