Where to get fuel line made?

I’m thinkin of doing a LT1 intake conversion on my TPI car, and i will need new fuel lines.

basically just running from stock hardlines in the engine bay to the back of the manifold… i need to pick up LT1 fuel rail fittings for the end of the fuel lines. stock TPI lines are too short to reach back to the manifold and all i need is to lengthen them like 2 feet to run them behind the brake booster and to the fuelrails on the LT1 intake manifold.

i dont wanna spend 125 bucks for braided steel hose that LT1intake.com sells for their conversion. One guy did custom rubber lines and it only cost him like 40 bucks. thats what i’m talkin about.

Custom fuel lines. I re-used the fittings on the old rubber TPI lines. They are the same on a V-6 as well as a V-8. Just go to a salvage yard for them. The LT1 fuel rail connectors are from PepBoys. $10 each. I took these 4 connectors to a shop and told them how long of high pressure line I need. $40 later and 15 minutes later I walked out with the exact lines I need.

thats pretty much what i need to do. what shop does this kinda work?

Look for someone that makes hydraulic hoses, they should be able to do the job.

lol thanks, but i wouldnt know where to start to look for a place like that…

and ok, i found some places that sell hose for it… but if i was to buy fittings and the hose, how do i attach the two?

some napa’s do,there a place down my way also!

sweet, let me know the place and i’ll stop by to see what they can do.

Orr:

You can also check at places that make AC lines. Many AC shops do it.

I know there is an AC place on RT 30 in North Versailles, across from Varacalli’s body shop. I cannot remember the name.

napa in new kensington makes hydraulic line

why not get a pipe bender and some pipe and make a pipe all the way back? Do you need flexible lines or something?

i mean i could make hard lines to the LT1 manifold but flexible lines are soooo much easier for my application

i hope this link works. you can see the lines from where stock TPI hardlines end to where they hook to the LT1 manifold. they wrap up behind the brake booster and over the strut tower

thanks for the help guys, i’ll look into those shops. i’m goin to jj’s now to see about that manifold
