where to intern

There is a point in life where if you can’t follow instructions for a total of 8 wires and you are 17, you probably are not mechanically inclined, I got my 1st project car when I was 15 and got it running, it has nothing to do with age it has everything to do with the ability to follow instructions, even then he was argueing with me about the craccord needing a P72 when it was my room mates old car and I worked on it a lot, and was there through the swap and knew what it needed to run properly

i would check out the smaller garages and not the dealerships…im gonna ask my father, he works at ken ton import on military

okay i looked at the fucking computer connectors the wrong way, big fucking deal, i fixed it and got the car running. in the instructions it didnt tell you which side to look it, it was my first time dealing with wiring. now i have learned a lot more through my own experience and through BOCES. sorry im not as “smart” as you. whenever you have talked to me you have been a dick. i thought you were cool when i was asking you shit about the accord but now youre being a cock. if you think youre cool saying shit online, youre not, so how bout you stay out of my threads.

I don’t know you or the other guy, but your comments in this thread really make you look like a complete fucking douchebag.

This is a kid trying to learn, trying to apprentice somewhere to learn how to do things right. You’re going to come in here bashing him? Who the fuck do you think you are? Asshole.

My opinion is that there is just some people who just dont have the patiance for guys who are learning, and to say he isnt mechaicly inclined is way out of line, he has a H22 swapped accord, which is by no means the easiset car to diagnose when shit goes wrong, and he fixes right, and I do belive that there where some odd thisg done when they did the swapp, so nobody is perfect, so deal with it.

I’d take both of you on if it were later in the day as I already have 2 interns starting in the morning. Sorry guys wish I could help but I think too many guys would hinder any kind of learning experience.

oh yeah 4 guys would be way to many, I already got a site anyway though, now if olny anthony would make his mind up

haha

Uhm that was my room mates old car, I know what was wrong with it but he didn’t believe me… I think in that thread I gave him a list what was wrong and what it needed to be running properly. You should have seen the swap after it came out of autocrafting, it was a nightmare

i didnt believe you? im pretty sure i did. for the most part i figured out what was wrong with it myself. the vacuum lines were fucked up, and whoever wired in the knock sensor didnt wire it to the right pin.

Ok Fine where dwelling on old therads and this is getting old fast.

ugh, how bout we stop the flaming

back when i took the course i went to west herr ford on campbell i learned alot and would of been offered a job but my last day my car motor seized on the way there

Yeah, I’m already lined up at wheel house marine, the olny requirement was that I intern there and I’m hired, I dont know shit about boats but its still mechanics and its great money.

ian, boats have car motors in them. its the same thing. real easy to work on them.

its a no go

i guess i would try dealerships

Yes and I’m sure most 17 year olds could wire a VACF, or even know what the fuck a VAFC is for that matter, nothing pisses me off me more than fuckers that expect a fucken high school student who has had their driver license for like a year to be some sort of master tech, you find me one person that didnt fuck somthin up learning and then you can talk, and last time I checked going to school for auto and going on an internship was trying to learn, Learn, thats all young guys are trying to do, thats why where on these borard, ya dont see us piping up about things we dont know about, we just sit back dont post and read. this isnt a “I’m a great tech where can I work” Theard, it a where can I go to learn thread. so theres my rant on people hatin on guys who have little experiance and are just tryin to learn, so lay off, cause everyone was there at one point.

oh i hate threads that turn into these threads
