Next week I’ll be meeting a guy in Buffalo to trade my 4l60e for a t-56 as buffalo is pretty much the halfway point between pa and utica.
Since I’ve never been to Buffalo before where would a good meeting spot right off the thruway? Any reasonable restaurants?

are you talking downtown or buffalo as a whole… good place i can think of is the mall (i think exit 53 dont quote me)… or the park-and-ride off the transit exit off the 90
I’d definitely go with the Galleria mall (it’s not easy to miss and it’s right off 90). Or meet him at the parking lot next to the tolls (either before Buffalo or after).
It doesnt matter downtown of buffalo as a whole. From where the guy is coming from buffalo in general is the halfway point.
Basically my criteria is:
Public place
As close to a I-90 exit as possible
well the mall is the best … for all that
Might be a PITA finding each other at the mall exit when neither of you is familiar with the area.
There’s parking just west of the Williamsville toll barrier (which is just east of Buffalo).
There’s a rest stop about 5 miles east of the Williamsville toll barrier (Clarence Service Area).
There’s a parking area at the Lackawanna toll barrier just west of Buffalo.
Those 3 are all right on the 90, no exiting.
im assuming this is for an F body… interested in a catback? 
depends on what it is… My dad is getting sick of driving my car with 3" dumped before the rear axle

Fry, just to clarify the Lackawanna toll barrier has a parking lot after the toll booths so both of us could exit right off 90 and meet there? Its exit 55 right?
The Walden Ave exit, where the Walden Galleria mall is will be easier. I drive by the Lackawanna tolls daily, and I had to think if there was a parking lot there. Actually it looks more like employee/state trooper parking.

Hard to miss, can’t get lost, well lit & well traveled.
Given the location, I’d say just meet at the target right next to the mall. It’ll be easier to find each other then.
Yea, the target lot just past the mall shouldn’t be as packed and you really can’t miss it, and is right off the thruway too
or the kmart/truckstop. the parking lot SUCKS, but its pretty big
