Edwards seems like the best choice to me, out of the mainstream canidates. Im a registered libertarian, so ill most likely vote that way… Unless one of the democrats really steps up. I really want to see what the canidates feel about marijuana. I really think thats gonna be a huge thing in the next 20 years. I dont know how much you guys know about libertarians, but their basic stance is to radically downsize the federal government, give a lot of power back to the states, and give back personal freedoms (i.e. if you aint hurting anyone, you’re ok). Our government banned Ephedra and Marijuana saying they are dertimental to our health. Ephedra has been “suspected” to be a “contribuatory” cause to ~150 deaths in the last 10 years… Alcohol was responsible for ~12,000 deaths just this most recent holiday season. While im sure smoking pot isnt exactly great for your lungs, its a generally accepted fact that its NO MORE harmful than cigarettes, yet cigarettes are legal and kill millions every year, and offer no social or medical benefits.

Alcohol is a billion times more harmful than pot. The government just hasnt figured uot a way to make money off it. Also, all the soft money from the cotton and paper industries that would be fucked if pot was legalized helps to influence decisions.

Pot makes me wanna chill, relax, think about shit, and unwind and enjoy time with friends. Alcohol makes me hit on ugly chicks and pee alot. and it makes my head hurt.
the govt alrerady figured a way to make money off of it a long time ago. they are the biggest dealers in the world , you just dont know about it yet
