i was suppose to be heading back to school hours ago, but im stuck because every road to pa is closed… shit is weak! i hope everyone made it though safe
I finally made it home 8 hours after getting out of work. I had to stay at a friends house in Rutland. Every road was washed out or under water. There was 3+ feet of mud on Vermonts equivalent of New Yorks Route 9 when I finally went home this morning, a lady in her Chevy Venture is buried up to her doors in it. We got it pretty bad here, everything is a mess.
No power at my work so looks like a day off for me!
like i said in another thread , my x,s parents live in ludlow and there house is gone now along with most others in the same hood . shit is crazy . work your life away and have nice shit and in a few hrs gone .

that is rt7 its nuts ,man im heading out tonight after work up there . my x,s rents are good people and are devastated . whats even worse is our entire nat guard was in the city and l.i etc and left nothing for help up here . now look at us granted ya can only do so much butt my god look at this shit . i wish i had my own place or some more way to help .
The storm definitely beat the piss out of Schoharie and parts of Schenectady county, more than I thought it would. My parents in Duanesburg had no power most of the day yesterday and probably still dont.
I’m amazed the water is already receding.
We got evacuated last night around 7pm. Cops were trolling the streets of the stockade making everyone leave. Really sucks. The place we evacuated to hasn’t had power since yesterday either.
Was in the car from 630 to just a few minutes ago trying to get to work in schenec. Fuck that I’m done lol
Yeah it’s no joke it that area right now. Water is waste high where we usually keep our cars. Currently sand bagging in front of our entrance to help a bit

I lost power 3 times. From 530 till 715 yesterday. Then again for like 5 mins around 745
Then again this morning from 8 till 9. But they probably turned it off just to fix it somewhere else this morning
