im an uber noob when it comes to everything and i used an eastwood (same as gregs) to roll my fenders and it worked perfectly… i also cracked the paint in one spot and it was also beacuse that part of the fender was reprayed with cheap paint…
<3 eastwood. easy as hell to use and it did a fantastic job even though i had no idea what i was doing

Doing this actally looks good? heh…who knew…its not like dented or anything after? on cars ive seen something the inside curl has got bends in it …those go away when you rool them out ?
if people who use these things try to roll the lip in one motion, they are fvcked.
i helped jammin roll his rear fenders and, yes the paint cracked on one side (although it was already in rough shape on that side), but it took a bit of time to SLOWLY, PROGRESSIVELY bend the lip further in.
no shit people are breaking it if they think a single position on the roller will do the job throughout the entire process… it’s a whole procedure. angle the wheel, extend the arm, use the worm gear to bring the assembly inward… then make your sweep across the lip. the lip isn’t a perfect circle like the roller’s sweep… so each section of the lip (front, upper, rear) call for its own unique roller position.
Then readjust everything to the new lip countour… and do it again. let up, readjust eveyrthing, roll. let up, readjust, roll.
If two guys who had never -seen- a fender roller in real life let alone used one before are able to use the thing w/o breaking it, then anyone should be able to do it properly.

Haha, to a tee!! I broke the fenders into 3 spots aswell. seemed to work very well this way. The rears are a bit thicker, so you will have to excersize caution there. The fronts are thin and deflect quite a bit once you remove your inner fender lining, so caution must be excersized there as well.
But yeah… lots of readjusting and continual tightening of all the bolts on the unit along the way.
