Who has turned on their heat?

I used to do it… now I only do it on some windows… My dogs don’t like the plastic and tend to remove it fairly quickly from the downstairs windows.

The HD ones work well if you take your time and install them right…

house is holding a steady 67*.with a bedroom and living room window still open. also i need to take out the air conditioner still. i could prob get it to 70* with storms down and the tv on all day

just closed windows and turned a/c off… still sleep with fan blowing on my face, even through winter

I do it. If your windows aren’t that great it makes a huge difference in comfort. I’m not sure how much money it saves but comfort wise it’s worth the hour or so it takes to put up right.

I think that’s the kit I used last year and liked. Wife probably got it at Target.

Not yet.

bah, my complex controls the heat. We cant turn it on yet…

turned it on today to a whopping 60 degrees… :tinfoilhat:

Holy hell it’s cold! I don’t think I’m going to make it up here. What do you guys do when there is snow on the ground and you need to work on your car?

Woodburner FTW

This is why its a plus to have a big girl in your life. Plus a snuggie.

You don’t work on your car outside during the winter.

If you don’t have a garage and a heater you wait till spring.

Wrong. A big girl is never a plus. If you need a big girl you should have two small ones.:grouphug:

Use her during the winter nights, then let her go home.

1.) It’s way too early for this thread. I have no idea what the temp is in my house and I don’t give a fuck. I’m not even looking at the thermostat until November 1.

2.) Big girls are never a good idea. End of discussion.

Well, my dogs wont come out from under the blankets so i and to turn it on today.I have an Italian Greyhound and hes almost hairless. It was 55 in my house, now its 64 and feels pretty good. Oh well.

droped down to 65* now not bad, i really need to get the air conditioner out though

had a fire in the fireplace this evening

Hit 65 in the house tonight and I turned the heat on for a bit.

Still rocking an open window, great sleeping weather!
