Who makes a good complete suspension setup for S13's ?

These are the parts I am looking at , and so far I have come across Megan Racing and Circuit Sports. The Megan setup has a lot more parts comapred to the Circuit. Which one is better, or are there any others out there as well. What brands should I be looking at?

Coil overs are the last on the list, so lets not worry about them just yet !!

Circuit Sports

Rear Upper Control Arms
Rear Traction Links
Rear Toe Links
Total - $419.99 USD

Megan Racing

bing…spl…

Ooohh…Im Liking SPL Stuff . Race quality !! A little out of my budget for now…but lets see !!

No offense, but do you actually know what any of those parts do or why you need them? It sounds like you just have money to spend and want to make your mod list bigger.

bings is good quality also

Still in the learning process of it. Figuring out what is what, what are my benefits.

Its a slow project, to make somewhat of a track/street car !!

Certainly hope, you don’t have any issues me trying to learn or change parts on my car.

Yeah just checked out Bings, intriguing for sure !!

Why are coilovers last on the list… That has to be the most noticable on a DD car.

Of course not, I just think you should know what the parts do and how they’ll effect your car before you go out and buy a whole bunch of random stuff. Most of those parts you listed wont have much effect on the handling of a stock s chassis, things like coilovers or a good strut spring combo, sway bars and grippy tires will make the most noticible differences. Thats not to say though that you wont need adjustable multi-link, its just not something people usually start off their build with.

Powered By Max parts work well…

And that’s the kind of response is what actually helps me and is informative, vs trying to flame me

It’s all research for now and calculated decisions from then on. We all have to start somewhere…dont we !!

go with bings, and get an energy suspension bushing kit so you can have fun changing them all, and then slap on your other parts while your at it. no point in doing half the job, might aswell do it all at once while its all apart cuz I bet your bushings are all soft serve like mine were and that kit isint that much money.

bings/spl use the most ideal bushings.

spl if you want quality…/thread

Bing’s latest stuff is nice too.

Well if you want a complete suspension set-up…maybe you should look at some parts combinations that are a good base to start tuning your suspension with.

IMO…you should start with a spring and shock combo…that way they dont have a bunch of dials and functions that a normal person would know nothing of like a coil-over (badly set-up coil-overs will handle worse than a nice spring/shock combo). BUT then once you lower it on your new springs…you’ll need some way to get your camber back into spec. So then you’ll want adjustable rear upper control arms and maybe a set of front camber plates. Next up I would do either f/r sway bars or a full polyurethane bushing kit. And all this is assuming that your tires and brakes are complementing your tight new suspension!

But opinions are like assholes…everyones got one, this just happens to be mine.

Invest in some Coilovers or some type of spring/strut combo before you do all the above.

Once you get your coils, and you know your new ride height, then get the arms that are needed, to get your alignment back into spec.

Otherwise, all those multi-link parts are a waste.
