90-91ish. it was the motor with two spark plugs per cylinder.
my dad has a 4-banger 4x4 5-spd ranger, I think it’s a 91 or so. He gets about 25mpg in town and about the same on the highway. :dunno:
It is a turd though. Going up most hills requires 2nd gear at redline just to keep it moving.
