Thing scared the fuck out of me. It was so huge. I had a panic attack and hyperventilated. Spiders scare the shit out of me.
And just now I encountered this:

i highly doubt you saw said spyder, i have been in some pretty back wood situation and never seen anything that large

The biggest spider by far that i have seen locally and not at a zoo or pet shop is a golden orb. those fuckers are big.
