Cali doesn’t typically get good pow because it is relatively warm.
That is why they call it Sierra Cement.
The Rockies typically get colder lighter snow.
It is a trade off, warm, bluebird Cali skiing or cold rocky pow.

Ive never skiied the Rockies before, Tahoe snow is good in the morning, but after 1-2 pm it starts getting kinda slushy
