FWIW, I also think they make motorcycles even more invisible.
I’m not a fan of DRL’s at all. If I’m not intelligent enough to turn my lights on when it gets to be dark, then I shouldn’t be driving.

^me 2… and i still get flashed during the daytime too… lol
I hate people that drive around with fog lights on - they generate so much glare. No fog(or very heavy snow/rain) = no fog lights (plus running main beams and fogs at the same time is pretty pointless). Worse yet the idiots who run the rear(euro) fog at night when it is not foggy out. Drive behind one for a few minutes and you have a red mark floating on your retina for an hour or so afterward.
I disabled the DRLs on the VW because of drive-ins, ability to sit in the running car at night in a neighborhood without lighting up people’s windows, not standing out to cops in a parking lots.
^i hated taking my car to the drive in for that reason… i had to pull a fuse to stop the lights from staying on.
