i used to drive around like that all the time when i had my coupe…actually pretty much everyone i know that has pops with a 91+ fromt bumper does it…maybe becuase it looks better?

if you think driving around with youre fog lites on, is as ricey as a massive spoiler…then thats messed up. i think it looks good, so i will continue to do it… even if that makes me a “ricer”… and if we’re talking things that do nothing…none of these body kits out there do anything, you can argue “aero dynamics” but you could say the same for a massive spoiler (not defending them)…

I turn my bumper lights on in both my cars just so that other cars see me. I dont have DRLs so I flip my lights on. I don’t think that is “ricey” at all.

What year did it become mandatory to have DRL’s? The guy does have a point, the hid’s to blind you like no tomorrow, but it’s better than not seeing the car at all.

91 or 92 they became mandatory and mine’s an 89.

Oh, i totally agree, Hid’s are awesome for the person driving the car. Drove a few new beemers at night and it almost seems like day, lol. Just when your on the other side of it, it sucks, but if it was too bad i don’t think the government would allow them.

How much does a HID conversion cost on a 240? I heard they are pretty pricey.
