Looks is one thing. That’s personal preference, and fuck what anyone on some message board says. Do what you want. Brightness/blinding people is another (more legitimate) issue, and that would be the only relevance that this topic has to anyone, anywhere.
Any factory-installed fog lights / DRLs are going to be aimed (unless you’ve screwed with them) so that they’re not blinding other drivers. Sure, even the HIDs are more intense, but if they’re aimed properly, they shouldn’t be blinding anyone. If any of you are blinding people, then fix the fucking aim. If not, who cares?
I know with my old Integra the biggest problem wasn’t the aiming of other’s people’s lights (fog or otherwise); it was the fact that the car was so damn low. Even when lights were aimed properly, they came right into my eyes. Whether it’s fog lights or headlights, you’re going to have that problem if you drive a low car.
So my advice to everyone who complains about the brightness is to jack your car up about 6 inches, or stfu. If you want the coolness of a low car, there are 2 universal truths: you’re going to get blinded occasionally, and you’re going to get more rock chips in the windshield. My Alty’s quite a bit bigger than the Integra, and strangely enough, I don’t have a problem with anyone’s lights anymore…
who is saying anything about HID’s? i was saying it is stupid to drive with your fog lights on and the remander were saying they do it cus it looks cool… HID’s are in a completly different catigory… but good try with the defensive that way WAY out to left feild…

my fogs are DRLs, and I keep my eyes sleeeeeeeeepy. So fogs during the day = looks way better, and having your lights on in the day with popups its pointless.
unless you were talking about at night… well maybe he forgot to put turn his lights on?? lol
srt-4’s foglights are the DRL’s. my friend’s foglights are HID, along with his HL. i don’t recommend doing this though, and god damnit align your HID’s if you get them!
ive based out once or twice and forgot to turn my lights on…usualy when its late and
im tired as hell lol…but ill deffinatly notice it withing minutes…not smart to drive with just
fog lights at 1am lol
I drive with my fogs on all the time. If I had a set of rally lights I’d drive with them on too. Anything to make me easier to spot in this city full of obviously blind drivers.
If you ever see me, give me a honk and I’ll blow my air horn as well. That’s for the other half of the fucking people that can’t see OR hear. Haven’t had a person cut me off yet that hasn’t shit their pants.
